The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Bittor during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes RC Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Bittor. A collision led to Underground Futbol getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jeronimo Lorien hit a great ball. Nicolas Inocente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alfonso Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of RC Futbol booed when Underground Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Constantino Beturian came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the RC Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Beturian couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Constantino Beturian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RC Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 40th minute, Celso Ubelteso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfonso Handi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Inocente in the 44th minute of play. Narciso Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

With 54 minutes on the clock, Astor Nevada commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 53rd minute, one of RC Futbol:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RC Futbol. In the 62nd minute Nicolas Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, RC Futbol's Constantino Beturian got a free kick in the 74th minute. Teo Caradaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Santio having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Leandro Bittor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Ubelteso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RC Futbol were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Underground Futbol's much stronger midfield.
