Real Soul Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Berdaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Valiente having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Donato Jaume's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Azeari was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Arturo Valiente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Berdaitz in the 15th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Real Soul Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Florin came free, but Alberto Azeari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Danilo Berdaitz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arturo Valiente to make any attempt to save it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deseado AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Danilo Dayam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Soul Lake's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Dayam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Valiente having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

51 minutes into the match, Deseado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Mikeldi came free, but Arturo Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Valiente having to interfere. Real Soul Lake's Alberto Azeari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Real Soul Lake from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the game, Real Soul Lake's Danilo Dayam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Valiente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Danilo Dayam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Danilo Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Deseado AFC defense, Danilo Berdaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Valiente. The Deseado AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Valiente should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Deseado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Dayam came free, but Arturo Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deseado AFC's zone, Danilo Dayam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Valiente came out of the goal and Danilo Dayam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Valiente having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deseado AFC's Epifanio Marz got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Real Soul Lake players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
