Alejo Donostia took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gogo Rivero. Gogo Rivero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Recreo's Delmiro Mogel got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Leon Fagondo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Alejo Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Ferro de mi Vida's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Donostia came free, but Gogo Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ferro de mi Vida's zone, Eugenio Ishmael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Rivero came out of the goal and Eugenio Ishmael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Donostia was the one to do the kick off. Felix Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Nalo in the 56th minute of play. If Francisco Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. When Iker Nalo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ferro de mi Vida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Nalo couldn't finish the play. Esteve Damario hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Francisco Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
