Octavio Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Goito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Deprotivo Tronquitos got a freekick which was hit by Amador Bero. Deprotivo Tronquitos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Jairo Goito scored to the left of an out of position Octavio Videl, making the score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Elias Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deprotivo Tronquitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Arce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidio Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute.
