An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Araoz in the 4th minute of play forced Arroyito's goalkeeper Saturnino Goizeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Araoz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Saturnino Goizeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Jr. Luciano Jurgi charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Jurgi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Boca Jr got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Jurgi. A collision led to Boca Jr getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jacinto Maraman hit a great ball. Saturnino Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Araoz in the 21st minute of play. Eugenio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Goizeder having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Isadore in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Goizeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th match minute, Arroyito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Boca Jr's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Atarrabi came free, but Marcos Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Jr's goalkeeper Marcos Teofilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Atarrabi in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Atarrabi in the 40th minute of play forced Boca Jr's goalkeeper Marcos Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Goizeder having to interfere. Boca Jr's Marcos Teofilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Atarrabi in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Jaime Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Cebrian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eugenio Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Boca Jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Araoz couldn't finish the play.
The wind increased when Florencio Isadore made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Boca Jr's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Atarrabi came free, but Marcos Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arroyito's Federico Beti got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, Hipolito Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eugenio Araoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Arroyito's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Isadore came free, but Saturnino Goizeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Eugenio Araoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualterio Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gualterio Atarrabi fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arroyito's protests and gave Gualterio Atarrabi a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Arroyito got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Atarrabi. After some careless play in the Boca Jr defense, Gualterio Atarrabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Teofilio. The Boca Jr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Teofilio should have stopped the shot. Saturnino Goizeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Araoz in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Jaime Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arroyito's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cebrian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Teofilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Boca Jr got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Atarrabi. Rogelio Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arroyito's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
