Martin Corderro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Niceto Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rene Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manguaré's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Dominguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manguaré's Rene Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Niceto Thomas managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Manguaré's Martin Corderro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Niceto Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Martin Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Manguaré getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fausto Quintin hit a great ball. CHILALO FC's Ermegildo Gipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CHILALO FC booed when Manguaré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Evelio Isusko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manguaré's Domingo Telo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Telo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Isusko in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Manguaré's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Isusko came free, but Domingo Telo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Bemabe scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Telo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Emilio Bemabe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Telo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to CHILALO FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Claudio Bartolome hit a great ball. Manguaré's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emilio Bemabe 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 70 minutes into the game, CHILALO FC's Evelio Isusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Telo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Bemabe in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Telo saved Manguaré from getting behind. Jorge Pere's late challenge caught a CHILALO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Pere helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Manguaré got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Pere. Domingo Telo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Evelio Isusko sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, one of CHILALO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fabian Matei placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Niceto Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Corderro in the 88th minute of the match. Niceto Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Dominguez took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Thomas. Niceto Thomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 97thth minute of the game Rene Dominguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CHILALO FC's Niceto Thomas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Manguaré manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing CHILALO FC to win.
