Giovanni F.C's Marcelino Eneas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Giovanni F.C from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Peter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Hernando having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Barrio 33's Siro Ixidor got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Lee Létourneau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Eneas was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the match, Damaso Ireno notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barrio 33's Daniel Hernando. Daniel Hernando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ambrosio Iban made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damaso Ireno. After a rather tough play, Barrio 33's Carolo Rameriz got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 26 played minutes Barrio 33 got a freekick which was hit by Siro Ixidor. With splendid footwork Lee Létourneau arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 27th minute. Lee Létourneau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Eneas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. If Lee Létourneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Liberto charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Liberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barrio 33's Lee Létourneau got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Giovanni F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Siro Liberto hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Liberto made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lee Létourneau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcelino Eneas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Iban threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barrio 33's Siro Ixidor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Barrio 33 fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Barrio 33's Lee Létourneau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Giovanni F.C's zone, Lee Létourneau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Eneas came out of the goal and Lee Létourneau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrio 33's Lee Létourneau got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Giovanni F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrio 33.
