Barrio 33's Daniel Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Romildo in the 7th minute of play. Dario Honrio's late challenge caught a Barrio 33's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Honrio helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Gavilán got a freekick which was hit by Dario Honrio. Reynaldo Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Létourneau, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gavilán! The goalkeeper, Reynaldo Bizen, was totally fooled by Barrio 33's Samuel Erruki, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 46 minutes into the game, Emilio Estavan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barrio 33's Siro Ixidor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, Lee Létourneau made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Bizen. Gavilán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Samuel Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Reynaldo Bizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Létourneau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee Létourneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 78 minutes of play, Barrio 33's Lee Létourneau made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Bizen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Barrio 33's Leandro Mazuste got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lee Létourneau struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Reynaldo Bizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrio 33. After a defensive mix-up in Gavilán's zone, Lee Létourneau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Bizen came out of the goal and Lee Létourneau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrio 33's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
