If Cirilo Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Funky Monks FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Marciano Uxio hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Rodolfo Oriol sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Funky Monks FC's Paolo Gaspard didn't even have to move. After having played for 32 minutes, Filomeno Su managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Funky Monks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Su was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Tomas Ellande made a precise shot to the right of Paolo Gaspard. Funky Monks FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Subdai getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Adan Eneko hit a great ball. Filomeno Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Musko having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Su to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Tomas Ellande fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 55 minutes, Tomas Ellande made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Funky Monks FC's Paolo Gaspard tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Paolo Gaspard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes in the game, Luis Dacio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 78th minute Filomeno Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Musko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gaspard having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Gaspar Iztal took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Paolo Gaspard to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Gipuzkoa in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Gaspard saved Funky Monks FC from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Subdai eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
