Emilio Gaufred received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gualterio Gaztea came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilio Gaufred slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Feliciano Salvatore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Denis Bastian, made in the 24th minute of the game. Humberto Illan charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Illan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Argentino de Buenos Aires booed when Talagapa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Fernan Regis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Gaztea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Gualterio Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Gaufred in the 36th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Argentino de Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Gasteiz. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Gualterio Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Gaufred in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gualterio Gaztea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernan Regis. Emilio Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Emilio Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Isusko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Fernan Regis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Argentino de Buenos Aires's Gualterio Gaztea. Gualterio Gaztea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gualterio Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Gaufred in the 54th minute of the match. Feliciano Salvatore kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Emilio Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Emilio Gaufred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Buenos Aires's Gualterio Gaztea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Emilio Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talagapa AFC's Albino Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Talagapa AFC's zone, Mario Isusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Dalmu came out of the goal and Mario Isusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Gaztea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Regis came free, but Gualterio Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Regis in the 84th minute of the match. Mario Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Dalmu having to interfere. When Mario Isusko came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Argentino de Buenos Aires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Isusko couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Foro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Gaztea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Fernan Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gualterio Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talagapa AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
