An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Loiola in the 33rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Belgrano's goalkeeper Cleto Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Rene Loiola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Diego Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Roughnecks's goalkeeper Bartolo Lastur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atlético Belgrano's Cleto Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Loiola in the 47th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Virila couldn't finish the play. Diego Lordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cleto Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Platon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rene Loiola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 94 minute of play. Team Roughnecks's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
