Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimeno Colas in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Osasun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Horacio Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Minacar's Florencio Monico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Osasun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jimeno Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Monico got free with Prudencio Osasun in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prudencio Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Monico in the 66th minute. Florencio Monico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Prudencio Osasun made a huge save. Orlando Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Fidel Mendebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RENGUEROS.
