Elpidio Noe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Filomeno Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Danilo Mantzio fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mixto's protests and gave Danilo Mantzio a yellow card for diving instead. Isaias Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Villa Traful FC booed when Mixto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes, Villa Traful FC's Isaias Bermudez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filomeno Vimaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Traful FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Bermudez in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Vimaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Elpidio Noe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. In the 21st match minute, Mixto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Montrel to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Villa Traful FC's Elpidio Noe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Vimaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atilano Goren's late challenge caught a Mixto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Goren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Villa Traful FC's Atilano Goren got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mixto's zone, Elpidio Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Vimaro came out of the goal and Elpidio Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Bermudez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Honorio Montrel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mixto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Traful FC the free kick. In the 34th minute, Honorio Montrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marciano Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Villa Traful FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Beltran couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Isaias Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Traful FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Vimaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Noe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Filomeno Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Benjamin Osoro made the kick off in the second half. Joel Colas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Santiago Gerazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Bermudez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Vimaro having to make a save. Isaias Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filomeno Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Furtado in the 63rd minute. Villa Traful FC's Elpidio Noe got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elpidio Noes short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Filomeno Vimaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Everardo Darien made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villa Traful FC's Tomás Furtado. Villa Traful FC's Cirilo Beltxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Osoro in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Mixto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Vimaro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Furtado in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Vimaro saved Mixto from getting behind. Filomeno Vimaro made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Elpidio Noe sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Danilo Mantzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Vimaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomás Furtado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 94 minute of play. Villa Traful FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
