Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alonzo Weather made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Erroman in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Atauri saved la ribe!!! from getting behind. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when la ribe!!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Romildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When la ribe!!!'s Dionisio Venerando in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Carlos Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Carlos Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Venerando in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Ihazintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Vasco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Miguel Atauri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Candelaria FC's Carlos Erroman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to la ribe!!! getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cristo Carlomagno hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, la ribe!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Romildo to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Carlos Erroman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Atauri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, la ribe!!!'s Dionisio Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venancio Ihazintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Erroman to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Vasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Atauri was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Dionisio Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Venancio Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Carlos Erroman notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of la ribe!!!'s Miguel Atauri. Miguel Atauri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. la ribe!!!'s Miguel Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Vasco in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Omar Charro hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Mauro Berto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Ihazintu skillfully saved the ball. Omar Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Miguel Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Vasco struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Miguel Atauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Candelaria FC. 5-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Osvaldo Vasco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Carlos Erroman took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Atauri. Miguel Atauri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Candelaria FC had played much better football throughout.
