The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, La Reserva's Desiderio Garikoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Elorri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 played minutes BETCO got a freekick which was hit by Boyne Ferguson. Efrain Fernado's late challenge caught a BETCO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Fernado helped the player get up and apologised. Luisito Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyne Ferguson in the 20th minute of the match. Fernan Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, BETCO's Gerardo Bras got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, La Reserva's goal looked a bit too open when Boyne Ferguson came free, but Luisito Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, La Reserva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Garikoitz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as BETCO's Fernan Madaleno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisito Raymundo. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. La Reserva's Luisito Raymundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save La Reserva from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, BETCO's Amadeo Maule seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amadeo Maule the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BETCO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amadeo Maule had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Amadeo Maule hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Ahmet Arif Afacan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BETCO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Arif Afacan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boyne Ferguson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Raymundo having to interfere. La Reserva's Luisito Raymundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save La Reserva from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Arif Afacan to strike the kick off in the second half. Cecilio Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Elorri having to interfere. Federico Montay's late challenge caught a BETCO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Montay helped the player get up and apologised. If Carlos Datoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, La Reserva's Leo Afonso got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Mario Iraitz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BETCO's Manuel Elorri. Manuel Elorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, BETCO's Manuel Elorri got control of the ball when Cecilio Bizen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Arif Afacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Boyne Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot. BETCO's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyne Ferguson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Raymundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Pablo Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Carlos Datoru came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the BETCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Datoru couldn't finish the play. Manuel Elorri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Bizen in the 82nd minute. Carlos Datoru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Boyne Ferguson sped through La Reserva's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Raymundo. 89 minutes into the game, BETCO's Ahmet Arif Afacan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Raymundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When the referee ended the match the BETCO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
