Narcis Pivniceru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rogelio Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Pivniceru in the 22nd minute of play forced Echagüe Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Rogelio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Echagüe Fútbol Club's Angelo Luix threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mateo Cortez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute, Alonzo Oliverio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Echagüe Fútbol Club's Mateo Cortez suffered a concussion in the 33rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Rogelio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Gonchan in the 40th minute of play. If Narcis Pivniceru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narcis Pivniceru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 2-0 became the score in the 52nd minute when Emilio Bastiaro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Narcis Pivniceru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maureo having to interfere. Narcis Pivniceru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rustico. After some careless play in the Echagüe Fútbol Club defense, Narcis Pivniceru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Maureo. The Echagüe Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Maureo should have stopped the shot. Narcis Pivniceru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Rogelio Maureo made a huge save. Rustico's Dario Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Gonchan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Echagüe Fútbol Club's Rogelio Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Echagüe Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Baldomero Lore hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dario Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Maureo having to interfere. The supporters of Rustico booed when Echagüe Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Oriche struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Rogelio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rustico.
