Jonathan Betadur walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Stegmann FC's zone, Virgilio Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Goito came out of the goal and Virgilio Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Virgilio Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naipe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Goito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 17 minutes, Virgilio Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naipe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Sidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 minutes, Benito Heli made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Stegmann FC's Albano Goito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Ixidor made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Feliciano Gamus sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Breogan got free with Rolando Ixidor in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 35 minutes, Virgilio Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naipe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Sidro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Txindoki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Stegmann FC's zone, Virgilio Sidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Goito came out of the goal and Virgilio Sidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Naipe FC's Jonathan Betadur got a free kick in the 59th minute. Virgilio Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute of the match, Benito Heli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albano Goito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 69 played minutes Naipe FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Dolfos. In the 70th minute of the match Alberto Jayvier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Ixidor skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Stegmann FC's Albano Goito got control of the ball when Virgilio Sidro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stegmann FC's Albano Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Heli in the 78th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Naipe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Txindoki came free, but Rolando Ixidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naipe FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
