A collision led to Seguí getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diego Orixe hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Casimiro Ferrando sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Seguí's David Kaiet didn't even have to move. Aquilino Prejun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of David Kaiet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Columbo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Columbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gervasio Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hilario Bernardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Virgilio Ranolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caligari FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seguí the free kick. Virgilio Ranolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Gervasio Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caligari FC's zone, Lorenzo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Bernardo came out of the goal and Lorenzo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seguí's David Kaiet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Seguí from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Gumaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Kaiet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Prejun in the 51st minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Hustaz couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Prejun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caligari FC's Arturo Gumaro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Kaiet came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Caligari FC's Arturo Gumaro. But to his dismay, Arturo Gumaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gervasio Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Hilario Bernardo made a huge save. When Diego Orixe fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seguí's protests and gave Diego Orixe a yellow card for diving instead. Arturo Gumaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Kaiet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Gumaro ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Arturo Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caligari FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Kaiet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caligari FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Seguí had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
