Caligari FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Prejun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Gumaro in the 14th minute of play. Penguins's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arturo Gumaro 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Francisco Peruanton charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Peruanton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Francisco Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Bernardo having to interfere. Aquilino Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Bernardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Aquilino Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Paul having to interfere. If Francisco Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Umbruso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hilario Bernardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benicio Mouricio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Prejun in the 82nd minute of play forced Penguins's goalkeeper Evaristo Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Evaristo Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caligari FC's Aquilino Prejun got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquilino Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Paul having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Penguins's Benicio Mouricio got a free kick in the 90th minute. Caligari FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
