Nunez Etor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Victorino Lluciano 9 minutes into the match. Cajón's Victorino Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Etor in the 14th minute of play. Cleto Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Lluciano having to interfere. Victorino Lluciano had great luck who in the 24thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nunez Etor from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Urbano Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Kusko in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Cajón's Victorino Lluciano got control of the ball when Cleto Miro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urbano Fernanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of SAN MARTIN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cajón:s goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Emilio Patrido struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Urbano Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cajón. A collision led to Cajón getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Maximo Rey hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cajón's goalkeeper Victorino Lluciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Emilio Patrido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urbano Fernanco. That made the score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. Mariano Rolado charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Rolado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariano Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, SAN MARTIN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roberto Kusko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 92nd minute Cleto Miro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, SAN MARTIN's Cleto Miro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Lluciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
