In the 10thth minute of the game Arnoldo Aritza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanús AFC's Rafael Frasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moises Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Bingen having to interfere. A collision led to Campo Chico C.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luciano Erruki hit a great ball. Lanús AFC's Rafael Frasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Lanús AFC from getting a goal against them. Camilo Bingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Ponc in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Campo Chico C.C.'s Arnoldo Aritza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Frasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Araoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Frasco. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. A collision led to Campo Chico C.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alejo Sayveon hit a great ball. Zacarias Hustaz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarias Hustaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Campo Chico C.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Zacarias Hustaz hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Hermengildo Endira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Bingen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arnoldo Aritza in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafael Frasco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanús AFC's goalkeeper Rafael Frasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Aritza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafael Frasco. Arnoldo Aritza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Ricart was the one to do the kick off. Zacarias Hustaz got his second yellow card in the match during the 51st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zacarias Hustaz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rafael Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Moises Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Frasco having to interfere. Emanuel Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Cebo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanús AFC's goalkeeper Rafael Frasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Emanuel Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Arnoldo Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campo Chico C.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Aritza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Humberto Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanús AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Bingen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Frasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arnoldo Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Araoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Frasco having to make a save. Rafael Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Aritza in the 86th minute of the match. Arnoldo Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rafael Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Ricart was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee ended the match the Campo Chico C.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
