Camilo Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Araoz came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Emanuel Camerino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campo Chico C.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Comunicaciones the free kick. Emanuel Camerino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Arnoldo Aritza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campo Chico C.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Aritza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Markel in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Carlos Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Baladi came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Campo Chico C.C.'s Moises Araoz. But to his dismay, Moises Araoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Arnoldo Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Arnoldo Aritza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Markel came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jesus Rivas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Camilo Bingen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carlos Baladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Moises Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Baladi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Araoz in the 47th minute of play forced Club Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Carlos Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Aritza was the one to do the kick off. Club Comunicaciones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Chepe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Emanuel Camerino was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Arnoldo Aritza hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Club Comunicaciones's Carlos Baladi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Club Comunicaciones from getting a goal against them. Club Comunicaciones's Carlos Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Aritza in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Moises Araoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Baladi. Camilo Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Rivas in the 93rd minute of the match. Club Comunicaciones's Carlos Baladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Aritza in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Ildefonso Galo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Baladi skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Campo Chico C.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Comunicaciones.
