Spectators: 6798 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) When Natalio Foro came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Club Comunicaciones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Foro couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Godfredo Vimaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Club Comunicaciones's Jesus Rivas in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarandí's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Baladi made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Godfredo Vimaro sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Comunicaciones fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Sarandí booed when Club Comunicaciones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Cuartio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Filiberto Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Hodei struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Filiberto Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Comunicaciones. After a defensive mix-up in Sarandí's zone, Dalmacio Hodei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Christobal came out of the goal and Dalmacio Hodei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Faustino Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Jesus Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faustino Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Rivas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Casimiro Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Faustino Garin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Baladi. After having played for 64 minutes, Jesus Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Comunicaciones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Carlos Baladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarandí's Faustino Garin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Club Comunicaciones getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Severino Fonda hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Club Comunicaciones's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Garin came free, but Carlos Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Baladi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Garin's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Faustino Garin might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Baladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Garin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 89 played minutes Club Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Hodei. Godfredo Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Carlos Baladi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarandí. With a little luck, Sarandí's Filiberto Christobal got control of the ball when Jesus Rivas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
