In the 6th minute, Erasmo Romano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Olayo's late challenge caught a poolman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Olayo helped the player get up and apologised. Americo Pere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Cayo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Erasmo Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Cayo in the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aquiles Argi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Argi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fake Nibiru F.N.C. booed when poolman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in poolman's zone, Erasmo Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Abeijon came out of the goal and Erasmo Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 minutes of play Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s Gregorio Olayo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 40th minute, Gregorio Olayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Braulio Milio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s Americo Pere didn't even have to move. Erasmo Romano charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Romano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Fake Nibiru F.N.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Romano. Clodoveo Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Argi was the one to do the kick off. Americo Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Cayo in the 52nd minute of play. Aquiles Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s Americo Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Fake Nibiru F.N.C. from getting a goal against them. 0-1 came through a penalty shot after 65 played minutes, when poolman:s Braulio Milio calmly waited for Fake Nibiru F.N.C.:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Clodoveo Cayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes poolman got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Navarro. In the 71st match minute, Fake Nibiru F.N.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Romano to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Pere having to interfere. If Clodoveo Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Hitzeder got free with Americo Pere in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 96 minutes, Aquiles Argi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Argi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Tadeo Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. poolman's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeo Hitzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
