Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Zacarias Poncio made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Rosendo Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Ramond took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Oto. Justino Oto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Ruperto Herena fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chingolo Juniors's protests and gave Ruperto Herena a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Poncio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Ereinotz saved El fenix FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Edgard Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Constantino Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Euloxu in the 32nd minute of play forced Chingolo Juniors's goalkeeper Justino Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chingolo Juniors booed when El fenix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, El fenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Poncio came free, but Venancio Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, El fenix FC's Venancio Ereinotz got control of the ball when Jonas Enekoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Zacarias Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chingolo Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Ereinotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th of the match, Constantino Ramond tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Justino Oto got in the way and made a wonderful save. 65 minutes into the match, El fenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Poncio came free, but Venancio Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Celino kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jonas Enekoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venancio Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Poncio in the 69th minute of play. After 72 played minutes El fenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Balasi. Justino Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Euloxu in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Poncio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venancio Ereinotz was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Jonas Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Ereinotz having to interfere. If Zacarias Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Venancio Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of El fenix FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Chingolo Juniors side.
