El fenix FC's Constantino Ramond got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Poincenot FC's goalkeeper Danilo Garikoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Poincenot FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ovidio Guzman hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Ricardo Euloxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El fenix FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Euloxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Poincenot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Guzman to maneuver through the defense. When Constantino Ramond came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the El fenix FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Ramond couldn't finish the play. Danilo Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Ramond in the 30th minute of the match. Poincenot FC's Danilo Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Lazcano in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Santos Pabla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Ramond might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Garikoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantino Ramond ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Iaki in the 45th minute of play forced El fenix FC's goalkeeper Venancio Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Ramond in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Serafin Iaki made the kick off in the second half. Santos Pabla kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Constantino Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th match minute, El fenix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Pabla to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Horacio Padro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Poincenot FC's zone, Ricardo Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Garikoitz came out of the goal and Ricardo Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Ricardo Euloxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Garikoitz. Poincenot FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Euloxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ladislao Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Venancio Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Padro in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El fenix FC's zone, Horacio Padro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Ereinotz came out of the goal and Horacio Padro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venancio Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
