Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Prospero Darien made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Chingolo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Balasi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Emilia booed when Chingolo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Zacarias Poncio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Shantala. Emilia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Poncio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jonas Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Prospero Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Poncio in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Emilia's zone, Zacarias Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Shantala came out of the goal and Zacarias Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Shantala having to interfere. With a little luck, Chingolo Juniors's Justino Oto got control of the ball when Narciso Isaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Balasi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Rafael Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prospero Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Justino Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Edgard Maties was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chingolo Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emilia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chingolo Juniors's Edgard Maties got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Emilia getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rafael Min hit a great ball. Eusebio Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hipolito Dalmau fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emilia's protests and gave Hipolito Dalmau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Hipolito Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Emilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Jaizki to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Zacarias Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chingolo Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Poncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 minutes, Rafael Min mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emilia and the Chingolo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafael Min hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jonas Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Shantala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Eusebio Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Poncio in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Emilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Jaizki to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacarias Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Shantala having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Chingolo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Isaio came free, but Justino Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Justino Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chingolo Juniors supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chingolo Juniors would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
