After a defensive mix-up in C.A Carpincho's zone, Damian Rio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Tolino came out of the goal and Damian Rio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th match minute, C.A Carpincho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Gaston Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeo Tolino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, C.A Carpincho's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Chuse came free, but Tadeo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Armando Chuse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Tolino was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Tadeo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Dino got free with Simon Luzaide in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Armando Chuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Tolino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 23rd minute Armando Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Tolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Igor Mitxaut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Tolino. C.A Carpincho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Mitxaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Timoteo Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramiro Umbruso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Luzaide having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Timoteo Dino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Simon Luzaide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Timoteo Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Club Los Muchachos got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Ur. 44 minutes into the game, Martin Cambranes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Los Muchachos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Carpincho the free kick. In the 44th minute, Martin Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Timoteo Dino made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes C.A Carpincho got a freekick which was hit by Andre De Coster. Club Los Muchachos's Gaston Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Timoteo Dino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Carpincho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ramiro Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Luzaide having to interfere. Simon Luzaide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Umbruso's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Tadeo Tolino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Chuse in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Martin Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Tolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Cambranes in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Club Los Muchachos booed when C.A Carpincho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Timoteo Dino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Los Muchachos's Simon Luzaide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Ramiro Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeo Tolino was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Martin Cambranes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Cambranes really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. After 95 played minutes C.A Carpincho got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Santana. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Carpincho's zone, Gaston Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Tolino came out of the goal and Gaston Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Club Los Muchachos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented C.A Carpincho from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
