But to his dismay, Constantino Mambru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Gergori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C.A Carpincho's Andre De Coster quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 99 minutes into the match, C.A Carpincho's Timoteo Dino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Gai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Laboulaye had won after a very even match.
