Honorato Txartiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Roque Loiola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, San Patricio RC's Humberto Peli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Dei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of San Patricio RC booed when Futbol Club Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Mitxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Peli in the 22nd minute of play forced Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Astor Dei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Txartiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Ganix in the 29th minute of play forced San Patricio RC's goalkeeper Honorato Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Humberto Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Froila hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Carolo Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Txartiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Humberto Peli made the kick off in the second half. Astor Dei made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Roque Loiola sent off a good shot on target. If Flavio Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Flavio Solustiano got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Humberto Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Mitxel charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Mitxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Patricio RC booed when Futbol Club Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Dei having to interfere. Astor Dei came out of the goal and Roque Loiola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Humberto Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Patricio RC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roque Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Dei having to interfere. Roque Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Astor Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Flavio Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Solustiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Odon in the 96th minute of play. Astor Dei came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by San Patricio RC's Roque Loiola. But to his dismay, Roque Loiola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. San Patricio RC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Futbol Club Rio Cuarto to leave the ground with a draw.
