The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Guillermo Medardo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored hrd2xpln's protests and gave Guillermo Medardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Guillermo Medardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Iraunkor in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Hunfredo saved hrd2xpln from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Filiberto Ioritz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Laboulaye's Paolo Gai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Atilano Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Atilano Gergori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Hunfredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Iraunkor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Gergori to make the kick off. If Benigno Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Medardo was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for hrd2xpln. 60 minutes into the match, Atilano Gergori dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Siro Hunfredo, 1-3. Siro Hunfredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Gergori in the 65th minute of play. Laboulaye's Paolo Gai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Pietro in the 67th minute of play. After 75 played minutes, Laboulaye's Enrique Stephen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siro Hunfredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laboulaye reached it. Laboulaye's Benigno Iraunkor got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Siro Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Clodoveo Sarracino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Gergori in the 95th minute of play forced hrd2xpln's goalkeeper Siro Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, hrd2xpln's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Gergori came free, but Siro Hunfredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Atilano Gergori put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Siro Hunfredo. The hrd2xpln fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Laboulaye were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
