Mauro George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Dei having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Mauro George notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Futbol Club Rio Cuarto's Astor Dei. Astor Dei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Futbol Club Rio Cuarto booed when Toque y Va was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Bertin having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro George to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Toque y Va defense, Flavio Solustiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Bertin. The Toque y Va fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Bertin should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Mauro George took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Astor Dei to make any attempt to save it. When Mauro George came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Toque y Va fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro George couldn't finish the play. Generoso Pepillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Astor Dei made a huge save. If Carolo Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro George recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Bertin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Odon in the 71st minute of the match. Carolo Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Bertin having to interfere. Mauro George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Astor Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
