Camilo Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eustaquio Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Club Atletico RiverPlate got a freekick which was hit by Julian Garoa. Leandro Jaume's late challenge caught a Club Atletico RiverPlate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Jaume helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Clodomira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Jaume to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Oliveiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Theobald went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Romeo Theobald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Oliveiro was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Club Atletico RiverPlate's Astor Xabat pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 14 minutes, Camilo Menendo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clodomira and the Club Atletico RiverPlate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Romeo Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico RiverPlate's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Oliveiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 18 minutes, Diego Frechoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico RiverPlate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Frechoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Jaume came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eustaquio Jaume could save by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Clodomira's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Theobald came free, but Silvestre Oliveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Oliveiro having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Clodomira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Jaume to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Romeo Theobald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Theobald scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Oliveiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Oliveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Theobald in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Theobald in the 37th minute of play forced Clodomira's goalkeeper Silvestre Oliveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes Clodomira's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denis Ishmael who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Diego Frechoso drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Clodomira's goalkeeper. After a defensive mix-up in Clodomira's zone, Romeo Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Oliveiro came out of the goal and Romeo Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Romeo Theobald made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Oliveiro having to interfere. If Romeo Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of Clodomira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Diego Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Silvestre Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Theobald struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Silvestre Oliveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico RiverPlate. After some careless play in the Clodomira defense, Romeo Theobald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Oliveiro. The Clodomira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Oliveiro should have stopped the shot. Clodomira's Silvestre Oliveiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Clodomira from getting a goal against them. Club Atletico RiverPlate played a much better game than Clodomira and deserved their victory. The Clodomira players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
