Justo Veremundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Ibañez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Chacarita AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Orlondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Frasquito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Ostots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Baldomero Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Argentino Ms. Jz.'s Remigio Norino got a free kick in the 44th minute. Martin Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Niceto Frasquito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Orlondo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Chacarita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Lapurdi. A collision led to Argentino Ms. Jz. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Remigio Norino hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Chacarita AFC's Martin Iratzeder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niceto Frasquito. Niceto Frasquito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 72nd match minute, Argentino Ms. Jz. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Bieito to maneuver through the defense. Chacarita AFC's Venancio Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Veremundo in the 76th minute of play. Orlando Dodorol kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Argentino Ms. Jz.'s Justo Veremundo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Ibañez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Virgilio Orlondo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Niceto Frasquito to make any attempt to save it. Baldomero Ostots struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Venancio Ibañez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentino Ms. Jz.. Venancio Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Veremundo in the 93rd minute of play forced Chacarita AFC's goalkeeper Venancio Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Justo Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Argentino Ms. Jz. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Veremundo couldn't finish the play. When Aldo Caitano fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita AFC's protests and gave Aldo Caitano a yellow card for diving instead.
