Unionistas UDS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Marko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Tebaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustaquio Jaume having to make a save. In the 46th minute Natalio Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Jaume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Marko in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Jaume prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romeo Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Julio Alberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Unionistas UDS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Alberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcial Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Alberto having to interfere. Unionistas UDS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
