In the 28th minute Marcial Benino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Frasquito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes, Antonio Bieito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentino Ms. Jz. and the Club Atletico RiverPlate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atletico RiverPlate's Denis Ishmael couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico RiverPlate's goalkeeper Eustaquio Jaume, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Club Atletico RiverPlate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Frechoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eustaquio Jaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes, Argentino Ms. Jz.'s Teofilo Joachim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eustaquio Jaume came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Argentino Ms. Jz. reached it. If Baldomero Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Theobald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Niceto Frasquito made a huge save. After 93 minutes, Denis Ishmael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico RiverPlate and the Argentino Ms. Jz. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico RiverPlate getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Denis Ishmael hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Teofilo Joachim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustaquio Jaume showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
