In the 3rd minute, Roman Ermengol made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Gorka. Talita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Vinicio Gorka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Quinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Basilio Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Peña AFC's Teobaldo Osoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Gorka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peña AFC reached it. The supporters of Peña AFC booed when Talita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talita FC's goalkeeper Vinicio Gorka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Cristos during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Peña AFC booed when Talita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peña AFC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Talita FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pablo Garaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Pablo Garaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vinicio Gorka quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Peña AFC's Bartolo Nazario got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Clemente Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vinicio Gorka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Guido Noe fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peña AFC's protests and gave Guido Noe a yellow card for diving instead. Sixto Luzaide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Mitxaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. With a little luck, Peña AFC's Prospero Mitxaut got control of the ball when Sixto Luzaide tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Urbasa was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Luzaide in the 52nd minute of play forced Peña AFC's goalkeeper Prospero Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Clemente Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peña AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosendo Quinton took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Gorka. Vinicio Gorka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Clemente Dacio in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vinicio Gorka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Fabricio Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Peña AFC's Pablo Garaona got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Fabricio Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Mitxaut having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Talita FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Cristos. Reynaldo Benvido's late challenge caught a Peña AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Benvido helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Talita FC! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Peña AFC. Pablo Garaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vinicio Gorka. 0-3. Sixto Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Mitxaut having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fabricio Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Urbasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Mitxaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of Peña AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Talita FC had held the ball for most of the match.
