Romeo Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Gorka having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Theobald got free with Vinicio Gorka in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Club Atletico RiverPlate getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Diego Frechoso hit a great ball. Fabricio Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Jaume having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Talita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Benino came free, but Vinicio Gorka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico RiverPlate's Eustaquio Jaume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Luzaide in the 22nd minute of play. Sixto Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the game, Talita FC's Fabricio Urbasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustaquio Jaume made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Talita FC's zone, Romeo Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Gorka came out of the goal and Romeo Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Marcial Benino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talita FC's Vinicio Gorka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vinicio Gorka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Benino in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Fabricio Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Urbasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Talita FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Romeo Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Gorka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Xabat in the 65th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Talita FC's Severo Otoniel tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico RiverPlate's goalkeeper Eustaquio Jaume, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Romeo Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Gorka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Club Atletico RiverPlate's goalkeeper Eustaquio Jaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Luzaide. Eustaquio Jaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Marcial Benino notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Talita FC's Vinicio Gorka. Vinicio Gorka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabricio Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eustaquio Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Fabricio Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Urbasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atletico RiverPlate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Talita FC for a fine match.
