Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Lope in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eser Yılmaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Berazategui AFC's zone, Santo Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eser Yılmaz came out of the goal and Santo Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. Americo Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Patxi in the 41st minute of play. Churqui's Americo Criston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Churqui from getting a goal against them. Ruperto Pabla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Lope was the one to do the kick off. Domingos Semeno made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Simon Reyes immediately put the ball in play. 57 minutes into the match, Berazategui AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Lope came free, but Eser Yılmaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berazategui AFC's Eser Yılmaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Lope in the 61st minute of play. The referee ignored Berazategui AFC's protests and gave Cleto Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Cleto Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Patxi in the 89th minute of play forced Churqui's goalkeeper Americo Criston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cleto Danel got free with Eser Yılmaz in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Lope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Eser Yılmaz made a huge save. Many of Churqui's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Churqui may have spent more time on the ball, but Berazategui AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
