Deportivo Verón's Honorio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Teyo in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Juan Argina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Elia skillfully saved the ball. Honorio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Melchor Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Bidari having to interfere. When Lucas Teyo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Bicha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Teyo couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Bicha's Melchor Playo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Honorio Bidari. Honorio Bidari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 92nd minute, Bonifacio Cutberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Ignacio Belarmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Elia skillfully saved the ball. Lucas Teyo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 97th playminute.
