Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Benat in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Edur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustaquio Benat struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Delmiro Edur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. Javier Macias was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Robustiano Munio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robustiano Munio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Benat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eustaquio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Edur having to interfere.
