Camilo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Blai in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alfredo Nevada hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Ovando notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Almirante Brown's Camilo Gonsalvo. Camilo Gonsalvo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Camilo Gonsalvo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Johans. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montiel's goalkeeper Armando Otsoko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casimiro Gelacio scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Otsoko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute Casimiro Gelacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Christian Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Armando Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montiel's Armando Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Gelacio in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Moises Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Gonsalvo having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Moises Johans made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Almirante Brown's Camilo Gonsalvo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Iratzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Otsoko having to interfere. If Ignacio Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almirante Brown's Christian Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Christian Quintyn could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Armando Otsoko however easily saved by the left post.
