The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Severiano Cristofor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Isidro Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tala's Francisco Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Tala from getting a goal against them. Isidro Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tala's Isidro Leheren got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Barto made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Severiano Cristofor sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Isidro Leheren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Isidro Leheren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Beat. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Leheren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Tala's Javier Orain got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Isidro Leheren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Jonathan Beat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the River Plate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tala.
