Francisco Barto made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Pedro Gomez sent off a good shot on target. Tala's Francisco Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Mannuel in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Tala's Cipriano Ruy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Koldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tala's Francisco Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Tala from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Geronimo Belasko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TALLERES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tala the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Geronimo Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Galeno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justo Koldo. TALLERES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Tala fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Tala's Isidro Leheren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isidro Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Benet charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Benet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Emiliano Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Lore hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Francisco Barto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Gomesano. Pedro Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Francisco Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Tala were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Mannuel to make the kick off. Tala's Francisco Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Gomez in the 52nd minute of play. TALLERES were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Tala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Gomesano took the corner. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind TALLERES's goalkeeper Justo Koldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Gomez in the 62nd minute of play. If Javier Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidro Leheren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Justo Koldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tala's Javier Orain suffered a concussion in the 69th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Lino Ciano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Gerardo Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALLERES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Mannuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gerardo Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Pedro Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Tala's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Gomez came free, but Francisco Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Galeno during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Tala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Francisco Barto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Gomez's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Gerardo Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Barto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Gomez went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Harri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tala eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
