Amador Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Gelacio in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Diegotxe in the 11th minute of play forced Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Camilo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Herensuge made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paulo Diegotxe. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Gomesano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Gonsalvo. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Diegotxe was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Guayquiraró FC's zone, Casimiro Gelacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Loren came out of the goal and Casimiro Gelacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Christian Quintyn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Loren. Guayquiraró FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Quintyn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Amador Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Gelacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Casimiro Gelacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Omar Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almirante Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Iratzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Quintyn took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Loren. Amador Loren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 92 minutes into the match, Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Diegotxe came free, but Camilo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes, Ignacio Iratzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almirante Brown and the Guayquiraró FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ignacio Iratzeder hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match was over Almirante Brown could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guayquiraró FC throughout the match.
