The referee showed Ignacio Iratzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Almirante Brown's Ignacio Iratzeder got a free kick in the 5th minute. Christian Quintyn scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Bembe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Nightwatch's Maximino Perico got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Casimiro Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almirante Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Gelacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonardo Pierres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Gonsalvo. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Guillermo Aresti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Gonsalvo. The goal made the score 2-1. Guillermo Aresti struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Camilo Gonsalvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nightwatch. After some careless play in the Nightwatch defense, Christian Quintyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Bembe. The Nightwatch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Bembe should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Nightwatch's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Quintyn came free, but Baldomiro Bembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nightwatch's Sergio Phelipe got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Casimiro Gelacio made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Nightwatch's goalkeeper Baldomiro Bembe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Quintyn. Almirante Brown's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Orti in the 57th minute. The corner ended in Omar Orti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nightwatch's Baldomiro Bembe did a great save. Casimiro Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Bembe having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Nightwatch got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Aresti. In the 64th minute Guillermo Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Pierres in the 65th minute of play forced Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Camilo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Almirante Brown's Alfredo Nevada got a free kick in the 78th minute. Nightwatch's Baldomiro Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Nevada in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Nightwatch's goalkeeper Baldomiro Bembe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Tome. If Casimiro Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almirante Brown's Christian Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes in the game Honorato Eguen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Evelio Tipi. Camilo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Aresti in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Christian Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
