When Benigno Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the QBSLC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Joanes couldn't finish the play. If Osvaldo Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, C.A. Estrella Zocks's goalkeeper Bernabe Colas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Baraquiel. Nestor Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernabe Colas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benigno Joanes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Vladimiro Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, QBSLC's Nestor Urbasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Colas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernabe Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Benigno Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the QBSLC fans jumped to their feet. QBSLC's Benigno Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Bartolo Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by QBSLC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgardo Tonio was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Estrella Zocks's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Freddy Justin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but QBSLC's Bruno Louis did a great save. Bartolo Quintan took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Louis. Bruno Louis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bruno Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Quintan in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, QBSLC's Bernabe Colas threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benigno Joanes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benigno Baraquiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Bartolo Quintan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Estrella Zocks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QBSLC the free kick. A collision led to C.A. Estrella Zocks getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bartolo Quintan hit a great ball. Benigno Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bernabe Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benigno Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the QBSLC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benigno Joanes made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of QBSLC booed when C.A. Estrella Zocks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Colas came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by QBSLC's Vladimiro Fernandez. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Nestor Urbasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QBSLC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Urbasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Benigno Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 72 played minutes C.A. Estrella Zocks got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Quintan. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Estrella Zocks's zone, Nestor Urbasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Colas came out of the goal and Nestor Urbasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Raimundo Remigio fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Estrella Zocks's protests and gave Raimundo Remigio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. Estrella Zocks getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Raimundo Remigio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Joanes in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Colas saved C.A. Estrella Zocks from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, C.A. Estrella Zocks's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Joanes came free, but Bernabe Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bernabe Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for QBSLC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Baraquiel in the 87th minute of play forced C.A. Estrella Zocks's goalkeeper Bernabe Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to C.A. Estrella Zocks getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Raimundo Remigio hit a great ball. Benigno Joanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. QBSLC's Nestor Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. QBSLC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
