After 2 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Gomez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Ciano in the 4th minute of play forced Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Camilo Gonsalvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Koldo having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Pedro Gomez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TALLERES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, TALLERES's Pedro Gomez got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 18 minutes of play, TALLERES's Reynaldo Baumar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Gonsalvo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Almirante Brown's Camilo Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Gomez in the 23rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Albornoz in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Almirante Brown's Alfredo Nevada. Alfredo Nevada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Koldo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Almirante Brown defense, Gerardo Mannuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Gonsalvo. The Almirante Brown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Gonsalvo should have stopped the shot. Pedro Gomez scored 1-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Gonsalvo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Camilo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Mannuel in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Baumar came free, but Camilo Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Ignacio Iratzeder came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Almirante Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Almirante Brown's Camilo Gonsalvo got control of the ball when Lino Ciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ignacio Iratzeder fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almirante Brown's protests and gave Ignacio Iratzeder a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TALLERES booed when Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Camilo Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Mannuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Justo Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Quintyn in the 66th minute of play. Reynaldo Baumar came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Gonsalvo could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Gomez got free with Camilo Gonsalvo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Mannuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Camilo Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Gomez in the 87th minute. Gerardo Mannuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Gonsalvo having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. TALLERES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
