After a defensive mix-up in Nightwatch's zone, Paulo Diegotxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Bembe came out of the goal and Paulo Diegotxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayquiraró FC's goalkeeper Amador Loren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Diegotxe in the 31st minute of play forced Nightwatch's goalkeeper Baldomiro Bembe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Sergio Phelipe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nightwatch and the Guayquiraró FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nightwatch getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sergio Phelipe hit a great ball. Baldomiro Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Honorato Eguen struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Amador Loren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nightwatch. Amador Loren came out of the goal and Guillermo Aresti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Guillermo Aresti came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Nightwatch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Aresti couldn't finish the play. During the 72nd minute of the match Sergio Phelipe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Paulo Diegotxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Bembe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Paolo Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
