Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Orcosuni's Benjamin Quirze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faustino Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Pio in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Orcosuni's Benjamin Quirze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pascual Peter. Pascual Peter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Bernardo Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pascual Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Benjamin Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orcosuni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Quirze might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Quirze ran back to his position shaking his head. After 14 minutes, Marciano Cordero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzados and the Orcosuni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marciano Cordero hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Benjamin Quirze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzados's Pascual Peter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Orcosuni's Braulio Leizarraga made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Peter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Jeraldo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Pascual Peter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orcosuni. A collision led to Cruzados getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marciano Cordero hit a great ball. Cruzados's Pascual Peter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzados from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Quirze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Peter having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Quirze in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Peter saved Cruzados from getting behind. Orcosuni's Paulo Arotza got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Cruzados defense, Benjamin Quirze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Peter. The Cruzados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Peter should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Orcosuni's Paulo Arotza made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Peter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute, Constantino Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Jeraldo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Cruzados defense, Benjamin Quirze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Peter. The Cruzados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Peter should have stopped the shot. Orcosuni's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
